Past Meets Present: Dahlia Bouquet
This Canvass Hanger Piece combines two artworks. My personal photograph of “Dahlia Softness” and the work of Dutch Painter Ambrosius Bosschaert. This piece he painted in the last year of his life in 1621 and is titled “Bouquet of Flowers in a Glass Vase.”
This piece came about when I decided to explore the idea of meshing past and present within one moment. Exploring artist’s connection that spans time and space.
This is printed on Palo Duro Matte Canvas which is a fine woven canvas specially coated for inkjet printing. Palo Duro features an elegant double weave surface texture that offers great balance between image clarity and the visual appeal of the canvas look. Palo Duro Matte Canvas is made using 65% polyester and 35% cotton content
